GDC exists to hold the global development sector accountable to the outcomes it promises, and to make that sector understandable to anyone.
We do this two ways. First, through structured data: the GDC Impact Database and Development Impact Scores bring transparency to who's funding what across development finance, and our EMDE country data covers ground that mainstream credit rating agencies often leave out. Second, through education: content, guides, and discourse that make the sector's challenges accessible to anyone, regardless of professional background.
The GDC also actively seeks to work with professionals and businesses to create development impact directly — through collaboration on research or other projects.
