Our mission
As an early stage organisation, The GDC aims to promote an alternative approach to global development in 3 stages, with the ultimate goal of having a material impact on poverty reduction.
First, by providing products which provides an easy entry point to learning about global development, associated actors, and critical challenges.
Second, by providing a platform for discourse and to spark critical discussion.
Third, acting through collaboration to innovate around development policy which speaks to tackling key challenges such as global inequality, poverty, urban development and climate change.

The GDC envisages a world where everyone can play a part in advancing global development, no matter your profession, education, or area of expertise. By providing accessible education, discourse space, and an innovative way of approaching global development themes, we believe new macro and micro development impact can be unlocked.
